What is ‘Kids Musicianship Club’?

Musicianship is all about learning the craft of being a musician. In Kids Musicianship Club students are taught about Steady Beat, Rhythm, Pitch Awareness, Inner-Hearing, etc in an age-appropriate manner through singing, kinaesthetic movement and critical thinking.

The current programme is for children ages 5-7 years but do get in contact if you have a child outside of this age bracket interested in music.

What is a Kodaly-inspired Music education?

Children subconsciously internalise the fundamental music concepts such as Steady Beat, Rhythm, Pitch, Inner Hearing, critical-thinking skills, etc, through singing, kinaesthetic activities, listening and games using carefully chosen songs and rhymes.

Through a careful series of sequential teaching and microsteps, these concepts are gradually brought from the subconscious into the conscious mind and reinforced through practice, composing and improvisation.
